A full privacy policy for CareBook is being finalised. In the meantime, here is what is already true of how the platform is built:

• Financial records are scoped to the organisation they belong to.
• Access is controlled through permissions, not just job titles.
• Sensitive activity is logged in an audit trail.
• Sensitive payroll information — National Insurance numbers, bank details and home addresses — is encrypted before it reaches the database, and is never displayed by default.
